Sather

sather is a nice object oriented language. if you are about to use Java, C++, or even Ada, use sather instead.

sascangen

sascangen is a simple scanner generator for sather. for more info see the README. sascangen can be downloaded from sascangen.tar.gz. note that this is a very pre-alpha release and is bound to contain many bugs and perhaps even some major design flaws if we are lucky.
